A Grand Little Farm

in the Heart of Montreal

We’re always pushing the limits of what urban organic farming can do. With 25,000 square feet of space, we have room to experiment, grow, and bring our boldest ideas to life. High-tech systems control everything from irrigation to lighting to temperature, so we can grow the crispest, happiest greens around.

The Tiny Life Cycle of Our Mighty Greens

The Soil

Our automatic filler loads trays with 100% natural soil. No synthetic fertilizers, no weird additives.

Seeding

Our automatic seeder calculates the perfect amount of organic seeds for each tray, then gives them a gentle watering.

Sprouting in the Dark

The greens start their journey in darkness for 1–3 days in the germination room.

Growing Under the Lights

Then it’s off to the grow room, where they bask under lights 12 to 16 hours a day for 4 to 7 days. We use minimal water and maximum care.

Harvest Time

Once they’ve hit peak freshness, we harvest and wash them daily.

Pack & Transform

Our greens are full of flavor and just the right crunch, perfect for our salads. We pack them the same day and ship them to a store near you.

Every Green Counts

Just like our plants, every action we take is rooted in care for the planet and our community.

Proudly Organic

All our greens are grown in natural soil, with no pesticides or chemicals. We designed our operations to leave the smallest footprint possible and only use organic ingredients in every ready-to-eat product.

Water-Wise

Thanks to smart irrigation, we use as little water as possible. We’re also planning to collect rainwater from our roof to water the crops.

Eco-Responsibility, One Tray at a Time

Our packaging is 100% recycled, we prioritize local suppliers, and we even use heat from our farm to help warm the nearby La Vie en Rose facilities.

Rooted in Our Community

We actively support local life in HOMA. We help newcomer families integrate through job opportunities, donate food surplus to Bouffe Action de Rosemont, and plan to collect compostables from nearby businesses to enrich our soil and green the neighborhood, all while welcoming school groups to explore urban agriculture.

Hypernature is your go-to for healthy, organic, local meals — always fresh, always satisfying.
